Just in time for the first Sunday of Advent, Åsa’s popular Christmas lunches return. Secure your place today for yourself and your party at the school restaurant’s tables.
This year we have opened bookings earlier, giving our guests the chance to reserve their seats well in advance and conveniently pay for their Christmas lunch.
We can accommodate a total of 1,280 guests. Dates and times for the sittings can be found below.
Buy directly in the online shop
Our online shop opens for bookings and direct payments on the 1st of September.
The lunch buffet costs SEK 290 per adult. Children aged 4–12 pay SEK 145, and children under 4 eat for free.
Payment can be made by card or Swish.

For larger groups
If you are booking Christmas lunch for a larger party – ten people or more – and wish to pay by invoice, please email ekonomi@asafolkhogskola.se or call 0157–695 00.
Please note that reservations by phone or email are only available for invoice customers.
16 sittings
The Christmas lunches are served over two weekends: 29–30 November and 6–7 December. Choose from four sittings each day:
- Sitting 1: 12:00
- Sitting 2: 13:00
- Sitting 3: 14:00
- Sitting 4: 15:00
Each sitting has 80 seats.
A classic feast
As in previous years, the buffet will be laden with a cavalcade of classic dishes inspired by the traditional Swedish Christmas table.
The school’s kitchen team will be serving delicacies such as Jansson’s Temptation, glazed ham, cocktail sausages, meatballs, pickled herring, mushroom omelette, and salmon.
Before enjoying the buffet, you are warmly invited to a mulled wine mingle with accompanying sweets. We will also be serving up some cultural nourishment!
Cancellations and refunds
We accept cancellations and issue refunds up to two weeks before your booked lunch.
