The school would like to thank you for a lovely term and wish everyone a Happy Summer! Most of us are now taking a break, ready to return in the autumn – rested and prepared for new encounters and opportunities.

It is, of course, true what we often say: Åsa is the school that (almost) never takes a holiday. When teachers and participants in the long courses head off for their much-anticipated summer break, the folk high school transforms into a different kind of meeting place.

That’s when our summer courses are in full swing, which means staff are on site to keep things running smoothly throughout the summer months. The pace is, however, eased somewhat – for example, for the kitchen staff. From 6 June, Åsa’s school restaurant will be closed for lunch to the public.

On 13 August, we once again welcome you to join us for lunch, as the exciting 2025–2026 school year begins.
