Four brand-new live videos from Åsa’s music course are now available to stream. The videos were recorded by the bands themselves as part of the course’s promotion module.
Throughout the academic year, participants in the course work on three ten-week touring projects: Free genre, Promotion module, and Interpret an artist/group/album.
Each project focuses strongly on concept and rearrangement, and concludes with a studio recording and a week-long tour.
Live in the studio
During the promotion module, each of the course bands records one song as a “live session” in the studio. They receive support with mixing and editing from Åsa’s sound and studio teacher, Gunnar Hjorth.
This year’s promotion videos can now be watched and listened to on Åsa’s YouTube channel, @asafolkhogskola2526, or by clicking the pictures below.
