Support when life is tough

Life can sometimes feel tough and difficult. In those times, it can be helpful to have someone to talk to and receive support from. There are several places you can turn to.

If it’s an emergency, you should always call 112.
Via 112, you can also reach the social emergency services in Sörmland. They handle urgent matters when the social offices are closed.

Psychiatric emergency team in Katrineholm: 0150–566 48 (8 AM–10.30 PM).

Psychiatric emergency reception in Nyköping: 0155–24 72 11 (24/7).

Healthcare advisory service: 1177
You can also chat from 8 AM to 6 PM here: https://regionsormland-vardkontaktdirekt.platform24.se/home-login (Requires Swedish Bank ID).

On-call fellow human: 08–702 16 80 (9 PM–6 AM). The chat is open Sunday–Tuesday from 9 PM to midnight: https://www.jourhavande-medmanniska.se/chatt/
Mind suicide hotline: 901 01 (24/7). The chat, too, is open 24/7: mind.se/chatt/
Relatives can also contact. On Mind’s chat, you can find more contact paths, including to Spes, On-call priest, and On-call friend.
Mind also has more support lines. Lifeline is for young people aged 16–25 who feel they have no one to confide in.
Refugee line is for people who have fled war, conflict, or disaster and are in Sweden. The line is staffed by professional volunteers and is operated in collaboration with the non-profit network Psychologists for Ukraine.

The school also has a support team you can contact:
